Storage: Keep refrigerated at 0° to 4° and consume within 3 days after opening the sealed pack. Consume before the sell-by date. Mussels can’t be frozen live. You need to cook them first or remove the meat from the shell and then freeze them.
Nutrition
Live mussels from Holland are an exceptionally nutrient-dense food, packed with high-quality protein, essential vitamins, and beneficial minerals. Certified as sustainably harvested by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), these mussels contain significant amounts of vitamin B12, iron, selenium, and omega-3 fatty acids. Their protein content, at around 20 grams per 100 grams of cooked mussels, makes them a lean and filling source of animal-based protein. Additionally, mussels are rich in the antioxidant mineral zinc, which supports immune function and wound healing.
