Seafood Society is a sub-brand of M&C Asia which imports and distributes fresh sustainably-caught seafood to restaurant chefs in Hong Kong and Macau. You may have tried our seafood at restaurants such as Amber at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Aria, or Louise.

We recently opened our seafood distribution to private customers and its growing success led us to create Seafood Society. Not only can you order the same seafood through the same channel you used to, but you will also have access to our brand new showroom and tasting events.

M&C ASIA is a seafood importer and distributor established in Hong Kong since 2009. We serve the most demanding chefs as well as private customers looking for premium and responsible seafood.

Today it has become a real challenge to select and identify the right seafood, so our team sources the best from the ocean for you while providing the necessary expertise on which species to encourage and promoting a product seasonality approach. We believe it is fundamental to educate and advise all seafood users: chefs, hoteliers, caterers as well as passionate home cooks.

M&C Asia has built its reputation by supplying the freshest seafood through a fast and direct supply from the dock to the kitchen. We work closely with small fishmongers who select the best catches from daily arrivals. This direct line of communication ensures that we can easily track where, when and how our seafood is handled from the very source.

HOW IT WORKS

At Seafood Society, we bring you the freshest sustainably-caught seafood from small artisanal fisheries on a caught-to-order basis. We do not carry stock, other than a few pre-packed items, which is why we ask our customers to order their seafood products 3 days in advance so that we can source them directly from the fishermen.
