Enjoy those salmon fillets (Salmon Salar) from Faroe island. This product is raised in the wild without the use of antibiotics or hormones. Each phase of growth for this salmon is natural and each step of the process has been customized to provide the most ideal, stress-free environment resulting in ultra-superior quality.

Its remote location is complemented by pristine clear waters, cool steady sea temperatures, strong currents and accessible fjords that cut deep inland. Faroe Island salmon is rich in natural oils and truly needs nothing but 12-15 minutes under the broiler to release its flavor. Its firm yet flaky texture also makes it perfect for truly any cooking method: searing, grilling, roasting, and more. 

The minimum order for this product is 2 fillets. Each fillets weights between 2 and 3kg. You will receive 2 fillets for a total around 5kg.

                                                                                                                                        Faroe Island Salmon Fillet with Leeks

                                                                                 2 8-oz Faroe Island salmon fillets                                                                     2 leeks halved lengthwise, washed thoroughly and thinly sliced

                                                                                ½ cup parsley chopped                                                                                      3 Tsp olive oil

                                                                                1 lemon                                                                                                                 Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a nonstick oven-safe baking dish, skin side up. Lightly salt and pepper the salmon, then sprinkle with parsley and top off with the leeks or ramps. Drizzle with the olive oil and squeeze the juice of half of the lemon on top.
  3. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until just firm to touch. The leeks on top should have softened and nicely browned. Serve each salmon fillet with wedges cut from the remaining lemon.
